It’s a new year and time for a new FitClub challenge to get you started with nutrition planning and weight loss. Starting January 9, 2017, FitClub members can join the Coaches vs. Clients Weight Loss Challenge to jumpstart a healthy lifestyle and enjoy a friendly competition.

Even the most dedicated of us need a challenge or a friendly competition to fire up our motivation during the dark winter months. FitClub’s newest challenge is designed to do exactly that. While your ultimate reward is a healthier weight and body fat percentage at the end of the contest, FitClub wants to reward you with prizes if you successfully beat a FitClub coach.

The Challenge
Starting January 9, 2017, participants involved in group personal training (Intensity, Dynamic, & Bent Steel) are invited to challenge their coach or coaches to lose weight and body fat and gain lean muscle. Contestants will receive nutrition programming and great workouts from the coaches.

Participants will weigh in every two weeks on FitClub’s In-Body machine and record their progress. Participants can keep track of other participants’ progress and keep their weight anonymous by choosing a nickname. Seeing your fellow teammates and competitors make progress allows everyone to push each other and encourage each other to the finish line of the contest.

The Commitment
The challenge requires participants to commit to two group sessions each week in order to be eligible for prizes. Attendance is tracked by the coaches and can only be excused by the coach. The challenge runs from January 9, 2017 to March 31, 2017.

Knowing you’ve made a commitment to yourself and the challenge may be just what you need to push yourself through the winter months ahead and get in great shape in time for spring and summer!

The Prize
After final weigh-ins on March 31, 2017, clients that have beat the coach they chose to challenge can choose a prize from a list, which includes: 2 (30 minute) free 1-on-1 sessions with the coach of their choice, one month free of Intensity, Bent Steel, or Dynamic Training, or one jug of DotFit Protein and one bottle of Multivitamins.

The real prize, though, is the nutrition and fitness information you learn from your coaches during the contest. Take advantage of the challenge to push yourself further than you can alone and learn what works for you and your body.
